Its main camera is a 64MP f/1.8 with a wide-angle lens, along with a 12MP camera with a f/2.2 123-degree ultra-wide-angle, a 5MP f/2.4 macro, and a 5MP f/2.4 depth sensor for vibrantly colorful photos.

It's powered by an Exynos 1280 mid-range chip, but has a larger 5,000mAh battery that lasts about a day between charges. The Samsung Galaxy A53 offers some surprisingly high-end specs for a relatively low price.

Best Samsung Phones 2022: Samsung Galaxy S22 Ultra

Last year's Samsung Galaxy S22 Ultra remains a big and powerful phone, especially for those expecting a larger model. Its price has also dropped since the 2023 version landed, making it a pretty attractive option.

The Samsung Galaxy S22 Ultra has a sturdy armored aluminum frame that resists bending, a polished to near-chrome exterior, front and rear glass surfaces that resist fingerprints, and is water resistant to an IP68 rating.The 6.8-inch AMOLED screen supports 3,088 x 1,440 pixels (WQHD+), which is 2,778 x 1,284 better than the 2,778 x 1,284 of the iPhone 13 Pro Max at 500ppi.

The Samsung Galaxy S22 Ultra also has a stunning camera, with two 10 MP telephoto lenses, an f/2.4 36° FOV, an f/4.9 11° FOV, and a 12 MP ultra-wide lens with a 120° FOV, and a 108 MP main wide lens (f/1.8) with an 85° FOV, offering 3x and 10x optical zoom. Sharp enough to crop details without seeing too much pixelation.

The phone's Qualcomm Snapdragon 8 Gen 1's 4nm processor didn't perform as well as the Apple A15 Bionic in Geekbench benchmarks, but it didn't feel noticeably slower in all tasks.

The 5,000mAh battery will support a full day of use, but you'll have to recharge it at night. The cover screen is a 6.2-inch dynamic AMOLED with a resolution of 2316×904 and boasts an adaptive refresh rate of 48Hz~120Hz.

The Samsung Galaxy Z Fold 4 features the main camera array of the Samsung Galaxy S22, as well as a low-profile selfie camera. The rear camera comes with a 50 MP primary lens, a 12 MP ultra wide-angle lens and a 10 MP telephoto lens, which is comparable to the iPhone 14's lens, and the front camera is even better than the S22.

The Samsung Galaxy S23 is powered by Qualcomm's customized Snapdragon 8 Gen 2 chipset, making it highly unlikely that you'll run out of power while using it. The battery is 3,900mAh and supports 25W wired charging, fast wireless charging and wireless reverse charging.

The Samsung Galaxy S23 is one of the more cost-effective Galaxy lineups, and while it doesn't have the features offered by the Ultra, it's still an affordable top-of-the-line phone.

The second oldest of the Samsung 2022 family, the Samsung Galaxy S22 Plus, is similar to the S22 in terms of specs and design, but adds a bigger screen and battery. But the price has also gone up.The S22 Plus is much cheaper than the S23 Ultra and much more affordable than the Samsung Galaxy S23 Plus, allowing you to get a much better experience than the base S22.

The Samsung Galaxy S22 Plus is appreciated for its exterior design, featuring a unique Contour Cut camera bump and angular edges that give the phone a distinctive look.

Also, while the resolution is average, the S22 Plus earns points for other display aspects, with a maximum brightness of 1,750 nits and an AMOLED screen with high contrast ratio.

It also comes with four cameras: a 50 MP main camera, a 12 MP ultra wide-angle camera, a 10 MP telephoto camera and a 10 MP front-facing camera, plus a 3x optical zoom.

Furthermore, it performed well in my tests with a very high Geekbench 5 score of 3,431. Last but not least, the S22 Plus has a good battery life, with the 4,500mAh battery lasting a normal day, which is good value for money in relation to its price.
