The Honor brand has been on a resurgence of late and new models have been bubbling up. As such, we have seen a number of Honor smartphones with 5G networks launching in the mobile market and multiple of them in the last little while. They pack a decent punch in terms of hardware, which includes a 200MP Samsung ISOCELL HP3 primary rear camera.The Honor 90 Pro smartphone also includes a 32MP telephoto sensor and a 12MP ultra-wide angle camera.

Meanwhile, the standard Honor 90 smartphone retains the same 12MP ultra-wide-angle lens, but swaps the telephoto sensor for a smaller 2MP depth camera.

At first glance it is difficult to distinguish between the two phones, the only sign of which is a separate 50MP selfie camera on the Honor 90 smartphone, while the Honor 90 Pro model has its own Apple Dynamic Island implementation with two cameras within its borders, a 50MP sensor and a 2MP lens.

According to Honor officials, both phones feature a new 3840Hz Pulse Width Modulation (PWM) dimming technology designed to reduce the damage caused by screen flicker to the human eye.

There are three variants of each model, allowing customers to pair 12G or 16GB of RAM with 256 or 512GB of storage.The Honor 90 Pro starts at CNY3,299, while the standard Honor 90 model in the range starts at CNY2,499.
