OPPO has only just launched the Find X9 series, but news about the next-generation Find X10 series is already starting to surface. It seems OPPO’s pace in the high-end flagship segment is becoming increasingly stable, with each generation entering the leak cycle well in advance.

Based on the information currently circulating, the Find X10 series will most likely continue with the familiar three-model layout, including the standard Find X10, the higher-end Find X10 Pro, and the top-of-the-line imaging flagship Find X10 Pro Max.

In fact, from the Find X8 to the Find X9, OPPO has gradually made its product strategy clearer. The standard version focuses on a more balanced experience, the Pro version is responsible for enhancing flagship configurations, while models like the Ultra or Pro Max are clearly starting to lean towards the direction of “professional imaging equipment”.

Therefore, many people are paying attention to the Find X10 series because they want to see if OPPO will continue to push the imaging specifications to new heights. Especially after the Find X9 Ultra started experimenting with more aggressive telephoto solutions, the next generation is unlikely to be just a simple minor upgrade.

Based on the most reliable leaks, it seems that OPPO is preparing to push the Find X10 standard edition more aggressively towards becoming a “true flagship” rather than simply making a basic model.

Current leaks suggest that the Find X10 may feature a 6.59-inch 1.5K flat OLED panel. Compared to many flagship phones in recent years that have increasingly emphasized curved designs, OPPO seems to be returning to a flat screen approach, a change that aligns with the preferences of many users today.

What’s even more interesting is the imaging aspect. There were previous rumors that the Find X10 series might feature a dual 2MP setup, and the latest leaks suggest that even the standard version might have a dual 200MP rear camera.

Current reports suggest that one of the lenses will be used as the main camera, while the other may be a periscope telephoto lens. Although some early information mentioned “20 megapixels,” in context, it most likely still refers to a 200-megapixel telephoto solution, and both lenses are said to use a large 1/1.3-inch sensor.

If this comes to fruition, it means that OPPO may continue to push the “large sensor and telephoto” approach in an even more extreme direction, rather than relying solely on algorithmic cropping.

Furthermore, the changes in battery life are also significant. Leaks suggest the Find X10 will directly increase the battery capacity to 8000mAh, nearly 1000mAh more than its predecessor, the Find X9. Domestic flagship phones are increasingly pushing battery capacity, and OPPO doesn’t seem prepared to be conservative either.

For reference, the previous generation Find X9 already had a 7025mAh battery and supported 80W wired and 50W wireless fast charging. So if the Find X10 really increases the battery size while maintaining a slim profile, its overall battery life should be phenomenal.

Besides the screen, camera, and battery, there’s also some new information about the core performance of the Find X10 series. According to current leaks, the standard Find X10 is currently testing the Dimensity 9500 Plus, a chip that is said to use a 3nm process and will remain a high-performance flagship platform.

The Pro and Pro Max models might be even more aggressive, with reports suggesting they will be upgraded to the Dimensity 9600 series, and the manufacturing process may be further advanced to 2nm. If this is true, OPPO’s next flagship should see significant improvements in performance and energy efficiency.

However, the memory and storage specifications might not be so smooth. Previous reports indicated that the cost of LPDDR6 memory and UFS 5.0 storage is extremely high, with some even claiming that the price of this combination is approaching that of the chip itself. Therefore, it’s still uncertain whether the Find X10 series will ultimately be fully upgraded to these specifications.

For reference, the Find X9 series used LPDDR5X and UFS 4.1, a combination that is still not outdated even today. If OPPO continues to use some of these configurations to control costs, it’s understandable, given that the material costs of flagship phones are increasingly high.

Regarding the release date, the previous generation Find X9 series was released in October, so the Find X10 series will most likely follow a similar pattern and be released around October this year.

Overall, the direction of the Find X10 series is quite clear: imaging will continue to advance to higher specifications, the battery will be further enlarged, and performance will be upgraded along with the new platform. The real suspense lies in whether OPPO will make some trade-offs in memory and storage specifications to reduce costs.
