When you see the OPPO Find N3, you might be shocked to know that this isn't a phone, it's a brick! This thing is as wide as an iPhone 12, and you might even say that its front screen is a mini TV. So, is there no need to unfold this big guy? Wait a little longer, I'll go into more detail later.

Turn to the back and you'll see a huge Hasselblad triple-camera system, this thing is so big it's hard to ignore like a hill on the back of the phone. The frosted glass back looks okay, but I would have preferred OPPO to do an all-glass back. It's a little big for this thing, but the grip is pretty natural.

One thing I really like about the Find N3 is the little switch next to the front display. This little guy allows you to quickly switch ringer modes, whether it's loud, vibrate quietly, or simply stay silent.

Overall, the OPPO Find N3 feels like a delicate little tank with a lot of weight. Yes, this thing is a folded, thick brick, and that big camera housing adds to its weight. So, yes, it feels like you're carrying a small brick in your pocket.

OPPO Find N3: Display

Don't look at this OPPO Find N3, it's huge, but it has one superb advantage: the front screen. The cover display now measures 6.31 inches, which is about as big as most smartphones. To be honest, it's about as big as the iPhone 12.

With such a large front screen, you can have fun playing with your phone without having to unfold the home screen. Seeing is clearer, typing is easier, and the resolution is the same as most phones.

Then you turn the phone on and a big 7.82-inch screen appears in front of you, which is one of the best among all foldable phones. Only the Samsung Galaxy Z Fold 5's main screen is a bit bigger, at 7.6 inches.

Interestingly, the creases on the OPPO Find N3 are not noticeable. You can only see it when you look at it at certain weird angles, most of the time you can't see it. Of course, the hinge part is still quite visible.

While the main display on the Find N3 is much larger than the Find N2, the resolution is a bit worse. So, you may notice that the black bezel gets bigger when you look at the larger screen. Even when playing games, the resolution may seem inadequate.

However, both displays on the Find N3 are AMOLED screens that support HDR10+ colors and 120Hz refresh rate. This means that you'll be able to enjoy playing games and watching videos on your phone whether you're using the cover screen or the main display. As you'd expect, colors and blacks perform well and are very vivid, and you don't even have to go inside the settings to adjust them. The viewing angles are also very good, as you can tell when you watch it with your friends.

The sound quality of the speakers is also very good. Their bass may not be as strong as I like, but the mids and highs are still good. Most importantly, the sound is very loud because when unfolded, there is a speaker in every corner of the phone. Placed in the right spot, it delivers a degree of surround sound effect.

If you want to go up to 100x zoom, then you have to be prepared for the fact that the picture might be a little blurry, like you're drunk, but that's normal. You can still make out some details though, it's like seeing a glimmer of sobriety in the blur of alcohol.

What surprised me the most was how this camera performed in the dark. It's like a ballerina dancing in the dark, graceful and rhythmic. While it doesn't perform as well in the dark as it does in the daytime, it has exceeded my expectations. If you have the flash on, it's like having stage lights and it's not overly harsh.

In my opinion, the photos taken are already great and there is no need to retouch them.OPPO Find N3 is like a ready-made photographer, ready to serve you at any time. If you like taking photos, then you will love the OPPO Find N3.

As for video, the OPPO Find N3 can capture HD video up to 4K/60FPS, it's like having your own movie studio. If you turn on the ultra-stabilization mode, the picture is as steady as a mountain. The microphone is great too, it's like having a professional recording device.

There are two front cameras, one on the front cover screen with a 32 MP lens and the other on the home screen with a 20 MP sensor. If you want to take group photos or selfies, then this is the perfect choice for you, it's a godsend for selfies.

It's partnered with 16GB of RAM and 512GB of storage, with RAM sneakily expandable up to 28GB, a combination so strong it's like partnering Wong Fei Hung's watermelon head.

There's no microSD card slot to expand storage, but you can easily handle even a blockbuster shoot with 512GB. Even if you're lazing around with a bunch of apps open in the background, the OPPO Find N3 will get the job done as steadily as a diligent schoolboy. Playing games? That's even easier, with a frame rate as steady as a soldier on guard duty.

When I play games on the OPPO Find N3, it's like I'm having a blast in a playground, it's like my very own ride and handles all kinds of graphics-intensive games with no problem. Even though I was playing so much that my hands were breaking, the phone was still cool, as if I had a small fan with me.

OPPO Find N3: Battery Power

If you thought the OPPO Find N3's battery would be as big as its screen, you might be a little disappointed. It has a 4,805mAh battery, which is about the same as most foldable phones, but compared to those that can't, it's like a bodybuilder boy versus a muscle man, and it's slightly thin.

But don't let that number fool you. This little battery will last a full day with normal use, unless you plan on gaming like a maniac, then you might want to have a charging cable or a rechargeable battery on hand, or else the phone's battery might cross the line first like an athlete running a marathon.

We tested the OPPO Find N3 on a video loop and found that it lasted for 12 and a half hours watching videos on the home screen. That's an excellent score compared to previous foldable devices, and it's as surprising as a small athlete flying down the basketball court for a dunk!
