This move clearly indicates that this generation is designed to generate immediate buzz rather than gradually build up interest.

However, there’s a change worth noting. So far, the official announcement only includes the Pro and Pro Max models. Based on last year’s product line, many would have assumed there would also be an Ultra version, but this time the situation might be different.

According to the “leaker,” Huawei may directly cancel the Ultra model this generation, instead retaining the standard, Pro, and Pro Max versions. In other words, the product line is being streamlined, with more focus placed on core models.

What’s even more interesting is that this adjustment isn’t just being tried by Huawei. This year, many manufacturers are actually reorganizing their flagship product lines, no longer simply extending the number of models, but concentrating resources on developing a few key models.

Imaging remains the core focus of the Pura series, which is largely expected. Rumors suggest it will utilize the second-generation Maple Leaf imaging system, along with a possible 200-megapixel periscope telephoto lens. If these features are ultimately implemented, this generation should see a significant improvement in telephoto capabilities.
