Apple iPhone 17 price: How much will the new phone cost?

A tipster has claimed that Apple is planning to increase iPhone prices later this year. The tech giant reportedly intends to attribute the price hike to new features and design changes.

Specifically, the leaker claims that the iPhone 17 Air is expected to replace the Plus model, and its price will be the same as the iPhone 16 Plus: it is expected to be 6999 yuan. Although its design is slimmer and there may be some compromises in terms of battery, this may make it the most affordable new model.

Apple iPhone 17: Design and display

A leaker claimed as early as September 2024 that Apple was prototyping an iPhone that would combine the volume and action buttons into one. It would likely work similarly to the capacitive camera control buttons on the iPhone 16 Pro.
