Hello, hello! I am Yuan Hehe, please follow me, more exciting content is waiting for you Huawei Mate 80 Pro leaks
Huawei’s new flagship product lineup is gradually unveiling its secrets. Recently, the first batch of actual photos of the Huawei Mate 80 series were exposed online, giving the outside world a clear look at the true appearance of this new flagship for the first time.

Judging from the exposed pictures, this model suspected to be Mate 80 Pro has obvious changes in the back design – the new circular camera module replaces the design of the Mate 70 series, making the overall look more recognizable and bringing a new visual impact to users.
The countdown to the release of the Huawei Mate 80 series has begun. Although Huawei has not yet officially announced a specific launch date, there are signs that the series has successfully passed the domestic telecommunications equipment network certification, which also means that it is not far from its official launch to consumers.
The new look of Huawei’s next-generation flagship
Real images of the Huawei Mate 80 series have leaked online, revealing the rear panel design. The photos show a redesigned circular camera module, marking a change from the Mate 70 series.

The triple-camera setup on the back has lenses arranged in a triangle. The top lens is likely a periscope telephoto unit, while the two lenses below appear to be the main camera and an ultra-wide-angle camera.
The setup also appears to include a dual-LED flash module, with an additional sensor next to the flash – possibly a color or light sensor – though its purpose remains unconfirmed. The circular camera housing is surrounded by what appears to be a steel ring, all enclosed in a metal-looking ring that gives the camera island a premium touch.

I’m not quite sure what the extra flash memory module is used for, but it could be used to house a color or light sensor. Meanwhile, the second image shows the Mate 80 series in the yellow color option.
Aside from the change in the design of the rear camera module, the rest of the phone appears to be similar to the Mate 70 series. Compared to the Mate 70 Pro’s square camera layout with four lens openings, this new triangular design feels more refined and likely makes room for upgraded optics.

The leaked photos also show two color options — bright yellow and black — but more colors will likely be available when the lineup officially drops. Aside from the new camera island, the rest of the phone looks very similar to last year’s design.
What highlights of the new lineup are worth looking forward to?
According to industry sources, Huawei’s Mate 80 series is expected to launch multiple models, including the Mate 80, Mate 80 Pro, and Mate 80 Pro+. In terms of hardware, this generation of products is expected to bring significant improvements.

First, the charging speed is mentioned. The series of models reportedly support up to 100W SuperCharge, truly achieving “charge in a few minutes, use all day.” Furthermore, the next-generation Kirin chip will also debut, expected to offer significant breakthroughs in performance and energy efficiency, bringing a smoother and more stable experience to the entire device.
Even more noteworthy is that some models may feature a built-in micro cooling fan for the first time, a rare feature in mainstream flagship phones. This not only helps keep the device running cool under high loads, but also represents another step forward for Huawei in cooling technology.

In addition to the standard version, Huawei is also preparing a higher-end Mate 80 RS version. According to leaks, this top-of-the-line model will use a titanium metal frame, which will not only further enhance the texture and durability, but also highlight its luxury positioning.
It may also feature a dual-layer OLED display, delivering more detailed visuals and a more immersive viewing experience. This configuration undoubtedly makes the Mate 80 RS the centerpiece of the entire lineup. These phones will serve as worthy successors to the Mate 70 series and will undoubtedly attract significant attention upon their release.
The timing couldn’t be tougher for Huawei
Huawei faces unprecedented challenges. Once the Mate 80 series officially debuts, it will be thrown directly into the fiercest competition in the domestic flagship mobile phone market.

At present, the Xiaomi 17 series has just been launched and has attracted a lot of attention with its new performance and imaging solutions; at the same time, OPPO’s new phone is about to be released, which is bound to attract a lot of attention in the high-end market.
The Huawei Mate 80 series’ camera layout and overall design are currently attracting the most attention. Newly leaked photos offer a clear look at the new phone’s exterior. If these performance improvements materialize as expected, the Mate 80 series may have a chance to break through this fierce competition.
