Apple is facing a make-or-break pivotal year, coming up to 2024, which will see the launch of several product sequels from Apple. However, of more interest is the debut of a brand new category of devices from Apple. Allegedly, the product, called Apple Vision Pro, could be unveiled as early as February.

For Apple, that means a lot of pressure to justify this new high-priced space computer. Is this going to be a game changer or an overly ambitious and expensive endeavor, people speculate?

We've been keeping a close eye on the various Apple rumors for 2024, which include highly anticipated products like the iPhone 16, the first iPad with an OLED display, and the Apple Watch 10. These products will be the focus of consumer anticipation in the coming year.

Apple Vision Pro

The Apple Vision Pro marks a giant leap forward in the field of wearables. It is expected to be the best virtual reality (VR) headset and the most advanced mixed reality headset. Apple calls this category "spatial computing" and the headset is designed to be the ultimate work and play device.

With Apple Vision Pro, users can watch movies on the big screen, play photos and videos in 3D space (including those recorded on iPhone 15 Pro), and work on a virtual desktop that floats in front of the user. Additionally, users can make calls and communicate with their digitized avatar through a headset.

The Apple Vision Pro wowed me with its gesture-based interface as the headset was able to track my eye and hand movements. The augmented reality experience made it seem like you were in another world. However, it's worth noting that the headset comes with a relatively high price tag, although it does outperform its counterparts.

iPhone 16 and iPhone 16 Pro

Apple is about to launch the iPhone 16 and iPhone 16 Pro series in September with a slew of attention-grabbing upgrades, with Siri, the smart voice assistant, and artificial intelligence features expected to be among the highlights.

Apple reportedly plans to invest more in AI in 2024 and beyond, and has found a way to compress chatbots like ChatGPT onto devices without relying on the cloud. This also sets the stage for the upcoming AppleGPT.

Meanwhile, the iPhone 16 is expected to be powered by a 3nm processor, and all four iPhone 16 models will introduce a new shoot button to make taking photos and videos easier.

In terms of display, the iPhone 16 Pro and iPhone 16 Pro Max are expected to come with larger 6.3-inch and 6.9-inch screens, up from their 6.1-inch and 6.7-inch predecessors.

Meanwhile, a swift Apple M3 chip is expected, while the largest iPad Pro screen will increase from 12.9 inches to 13 inches.

The next-generation iPad Pro could also feature a new glass body design and support for MagSafe wireless charging technology. Additionally, the new iPad Pro may introduce a new MyoControl keyboard featuring a sturdier aluminum frame and an improved Apple Pencil.

In addition to the OLED iPad Pro, other new iPad products mentioned in the rumor mill include an entry-level iPad 11 with a faster chip and support for the new Apple Pencil with a USB-C port.

In addition, the new iPad Mini 7 could come with a larger 8.3-inch display. This slew of updates will make the 2024 iPad one of Apple's focuses.

AirPods 4 and AirPods Max 2

In 2024, Apple may launch two new AirPods 4, not just one. According to Bloomberg, Apple is planning to launch two new AirPods with fourth-generation, non-Pro models.

Both new models are expected to bring an updated design with a redesigned case and added support for USB-C charging. The higher-end models will also come with active noise cancellation, allowing users to enjoy the feature without having to buy AirPods Pro 2.

While this may not be a major upgrade, we're also expected to see the new AirPods Max 2, which will feature USB-C charging and new color options. Expect this update to also bring a more affordable starting price and a more sensible design for the AirPods Max charging case.

Apple Watch 10

While Apple's continued involvement in patent litigation has led to a temporary holdup in sales of the Apple Watch 9 and Apple Watch Ultra 2, in the meantime, the company is actively working on a new Apple Watch 10 model, which is expected to bring major health upgrades.

The new Apple Watch reportedly not only comes with a new and improved design, but also includes advanced features to detect high blood pressure and sleep apnea.

Users will be able to receive alerts and relevant recommendations regarding follow-up testing. However, it should be noted that this year's model is not expected to support the ability to read blood pressure through the wrist.

MacBook Air with M3

The M3 chip has proven to perform quite well on the 14-inch MacBook Pro and the 16-inch MacBook Pro with the M3 Max chip. However, Apple plans to introduce the M3 chip to the MacBook Air lineup.

According to predictions, Apple will launch the MacBook Air with the M3 chip alongside the new iPad in early 2024. however, the exact release date could be at a later date, possibly spring or summer.

It's therefore reasonable to expect that the 13-inch and 15-inch MacBook Airs will be powered by the more powerful M3 chip, which will contain 10 GPU cores (instead of the previous eight).
