Hello, how are you? I am the original huh, click on the attention, more exciting content waiting for you!
OnePlus fans are lucky to have two phones in 2022: the top-of-the-line OnePlus 10 Pro and the more mainstream OnePlus 10T. But that doesn't mean the company won't be working on a new phone. No, they're going straight back to the upcoming OnePlus 11.
I've gotten used to a fairly regular release schedule in previous years, and rumors have started to boil over about what we can expect from the next "flagship killer". Will the Pro moniker work this time? That's all we know so far, in case you're waiting for the OnePlus 11 column.
OnePlus 11: Release date and price rumors
OnePlus can usually launch its first new phone of the year in March or April, but that pattern has changed a bit for 2022. So while the global version may still arrive in March, we already know everything about it.
It remains to be seen if OnePlus will do the same thing again for the new phone. Either way, we can be fairly confident that we'll be able to get the OnePlus 11 into the hands of users by the summer of 2023.
The price is more of a mystery, although we know OnePlus prides itself on being a more affordable alternative to traditional flagships like Samsung and Apple.
OnePlus 11: Rumors and details
We would have guessed that OnePlus would go with Qualcomm's latest and greatest CPU at the moment. it has always chosen the best Snapdragon for its previous entries, and the timing looks good for OnePlus 11 to do the same. onePlus later confirmed at Qualcomm's annual media summit that it will indeed be one of the first companies to come with a Snapdragon 8 Gen 2 processor One of the
As a matter of fact, that's pretty much all we have to go on. The biggest rumor floating around right now is that OnePlus will drop the Pro part of its name and use the regular OnePlus 11. When the company announced which chip its upcoming phone would have, it neglected to include "Pro" and simply referred to the phone as " OnePlus 11". We're only expecting one version of this phone, not a repeat of the regular and Pro versions launched in previous years, but a simplified name might not mean a streamlined spec sheet.
On the design front, the most important information comes from the tipster, who has posted a render of the OnePlus 11 based on an early prototype. It shows the current phone's 2+2 rear camera layout, except here it's contained within a giant circular camera bump - which itself sits within a raised semicircle. We'd call it ...... unique, but maybe it looks easier to the human eye.
Expect a 6.7-inch OLED screen with QHD+ resolution and a perforated selfie lens in the upper left corner. The material should be a mix of metal frame and glass front/back with a slight bend on the left and right display edges. Looks like the alert slider, once a staple of OnePlus but dropped from the OnePlus 10T, may also return.
It will likely come with 8GB of RAM and 128GB of onboard storage, but there may be pricier versions up to 16GB and 256GB, respectively. don't expect microSD card support: OnePlus has never been keen on expandable storage.
According to the leaker, the OnePlus 11 will come with a triple-lens rear camera array consisting of a 50MP Sony IMX890, 48MP ultra-wide IMX581 and 32MP telephoto IMX709 for 2x optical zoom. It is roughly the same as the upcoming foldable Oppo Find N2, but without optical stabilization.
With its 3.3x zoom lens, the OnePlus 10 Pro is a good telephoto camera phone - but we're now seeing 5x and even 10x becoming more common.
A stronger zoom ratio would be great - and a higher pixel count sensor would follow - to better compete with the "pro" and "super" variants of rival phones.
Finally, the latest rumors point to a 5000mAh battery and fast charging. the OnePlus 10T tops out at 150W, while the OnePlus 10 Pro tops out at 80W. we haven't seen many rival phones offering higher performance, so we expect the OnePlus 11 to have similar features by then. Are you looking forward to it?
