Oppo is a major player in the cell phone market. It is one of the top five smartphone makers in the world in terms of market share and produces some of the best Android phones in all price segments.Oppo's Find X line is particularly noteworthy, offering top-of-the-line cellular hardware, impressive cameras, and ultra-fast fast charging features at a reasonable price compared to Samsung or Apple.

Its recently released Find N series includes some of the best foldable phones currently available in the market. If you're in the market for a new phone and aren't interested in the latest offerings from Apple and Samsung, I highly recommend giving OPPO smartphones a try.

OPPO Find X6 Pro: a comprehensive flagship experience

Despite its limited availability, the OPPO Find X6 Pro is easily among the best flagships of the year. It features top-of-the-line mobile hardware that rivals Samsung's Galaxy S23 Ultra, including Qualcomm's Snapdragon 8 Gen 2 chip, up to 16GB of LPDDR5X RAM and 512GB of UFS 4.0 storage, as well as a 5,000mAh battery with an impressive 100W of wired and 50W of wireless fast charging support.

The OPPO Find X6 Pro also comes with an impressive set of cameras. Its 50MP 1-inch primary sensor takes stunning images in almost all conditions, while its 50MP periscope zoom camera is arguably better than the telephoto lens on the Samsung Galaxy S23 Ultra.

As we pointed out in our review of the OPPO Find X6 Pro, its 50MP ultra-wide screen outperforms its competitors as it has a better sensor than other phones. The only downside to this phone is its 32MP selfie camera, which is limited to 1080p video recording.

OPPO Find X5 Pro: flagship phone

If you want to splurge on an OPPO phone but are on a budget, the OPPO Find X5 Pro is currently one of the premium models in the X series.

The OPPO Find X5 Pro price is a little bit higher though, so you can rest on your laurels as it is very durable with an IP68 water and dust resistance rating, while the model is made of elegant ceramic and is available in Ceramic White and Glazed in Black.

For photography, the OPPO Find X5 Pro features a 50 MP wide-angle camera, a 50 MP ultra wide-angle camera, and a 13 MP telephoto camera.4K Ultra Night Video lets you easily capture videos at night while illuminating photos in ultra-low-light conditions, while Ultra HDR Video captures backgrounds and foregrounds clearly during the day. If you want the perfect selfie, the OPPO Find X5 Pro's selfie camera automatically switches to wide-angle for better angles every time.

OPPO Find N2: Rivaling Samsung's flagship folding screen

The OPPO Find N2 is by far the best foldable phone in OPPO's portfolio. It has a small footprint, is more comfortable to use than Samsung's Galaxy Z Fold 4, and its unique design is unlike any other foldable phone on the market.

Despite its size, it has a large 7.1-inch 120Hz LTPO AMOLED display and a 5.54-inch 120Hz AMOLED overlay screen inside.

Although the phone doesn't come with Qualcomm's latest flagship SoC, its Snapdragon 8 Plus Gen 1 is powerful and smooth. It's paired with 12GB of LPDDR5 RAM for great multitasking and up to 512GB of UFS 3.1 storage.

The OPPO Find N2 also comes with a nice set of cameras including a 50MP IMX890 main camera, a 48MP ultra-wide lens and a 32MP 2x telephoto zoom camera. You can also fit two 32MP selfie shooters inside the perforated cutouts on both displays. A 4,250mAh battery with support for fast 67W wired charging rounds out the hardware.

On the software side, the OPPOFind N2 runs ColorOS 13, a customized version of ColorOS for foldable phones based on Android 13. It offers a variety of useful multitasking gestures that allow you to easily perform tasks like triggering split-screen mode or launching apps. Legacy OPPO Find N2 is a great foldable phone to buy.

OPPO Find N2 Flip: Samsung Galaxy Z Flip 4 Replacement

OPPO Find N2 Flip It's also one of the best compact foldable phones on the market today with flagship hardware like the Samsung Galaxy Z Flip 4. This phone trumps everything Samsung offers a great foldable display in two ways, it has a fainter crease and a larger covered screen.

The OPPO Find N2 Flip is powered by MediaTek's Tenguet 9000+ SoC, which may not be as good as the Snapdragon 8 Gen 2, but performs well in most tasks.

It comes with 8GB of LPDDR5 RAM, 256GB of UFS 3.1 storage, and a 4,300mAh battery that supports 44W wired fast charging.

The phone comes with a large 6.8-inch primary display with a 120Hz refresh rate and a 3.26-inch OLED-covered screen, which is much larger than the Samsung Galaxy Z Flip 4's.

Unfortunately, the phone doesn't make good use of the extra screen space, and you're stuck with a few widgets to perform basic tasks.

On the front of the camera, the OPPO Find N2 Flip has the same 50MP IMX890 primary sensor and an 8MP IMX355 ultra-wide-angle lens as the OPPO Find N2.

It also features a 32MP selfie shooter that sits inside a perforated cutout at the top of the main display. As I noted in my review of the OPPO Find N2 Flip, the phone offers decent camera performance and comes with some clever software tricks to help you take amazing selfies with the main camera.

OPPO Reno 8 Pro 5G: A full-featured, affordable phone

If you're in the market for a new mid-range phone, you should consider buying the OPPO Reno 8 Pro. it's a great alternative to the Samsung Galaxy A54, offering powerful hardware such as MediaTek's Dimensity 8100-Max chipset, 8GB of RAM, 256GB of on-board storage and a 6.7-inch FHD+ OLED display with a refresh rate The display is one of the best at this price point.

The phone also comes with dual stereo speakers, an IP54 rating for dust and water resistance, Gorilla Glass 5 protection on the front and back, and a large 4,500mAh battery with 80W wired fast charging support.

Despite its affordable price tag, the OPPO Reno 8 Pro doesn't slack on the camera front. It comes with a 50MP primary sensor that can capture vivid images in almost any environmental condition, and an 8MP ultra-wide camera that can capture wide-open scenes in a pinch. The third 2MP macro camera isn't the best, but the 32MP IMX709 self-timer lens can capture some amazing shots.
