But if you need to work creatively with the second-generation Apple Pencil, the 2022 iPad Pro is an indispensable choice, since the MacBook Air doesn't support the second-generation Apple Pencil. The 2022 iPad Pro with M2 processor also supports Apple's hover feature with the second-generation Apple Pencil, which provides greater accuracy and new, useful interactions.

Additionally, the 2022 iPad Pro can be used as a high-quality capture device for your projects, for photos or videos, either as a primary camera or as a replacement for your workstation.
